Izenstone Guest Information
Welcome to Izenstone! We’re thrilled you’ll be joining us for this special celebration. To help make everyone’s experience safe, fun, and stress-free, we’ve put together a few friendly guidelines. Think of them as tips to help you have the best day ever - and keep the property looking beautiful for future couples!
-
Izenstone Bar Service
Izenstone holds an Alabama liquor license, which means all alcoholic beverages must be provided and served by our licensed bartenders; so no outside alcohol, please.
An off-duty Baldwin County Sheriff’s officer is on-site to ensure everyone stays safe and the celebration runs smoothly.
Guests who try to bring in outside drinks will be asked to toss it before coming on the property. Continued violations could result in the couple being subject to a $500 fine, so please help keep the fun flowing!
Thanks for helping us follow the law and keep the celebration worry-free and enjoyable for everyone.
-
Parking Information
Parking is at the top of the hill, and a friendly attendant will guide you to a spot.
Once parked, you can either take the scenic walking path down to the venue or ride in our 6-passenger golf cart shuttle, which runs continuously until the end of the event.
A limited number of handicap-accessible parking spots are located behind the venue.
Arrival is 30 minutes before the ceremony — this helps the team put the finishing touches in place. Even if you need the restroom early, we’ll ask you to wait until the designated time.
Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly and making sure the couple’s day is picture-perfect!
-
Children at the Venue
If the couple has invited children, it will be noted on your invitation — please check before arranging childcare.
We love having little ones around! Here’s how to keep them safe and happy:Children should be supervised by an adult at all times.
There’s a 12-foot pond and lots of wildlife — so no wandering unsupervised.
Occasionally outdoor games like cornhole and giant Jenga are available; please help keep the pieces safe from rough play.
Wildlife on the property includes ducks, turtles, deer, turkeys, snakes, and coyotes; please admire from a safe distance.
With a little supervision, everyone can enjoy the grounds safely! -
Weather Plans
While we hope for perfect weather, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans.
In the event of rain or severe weather, Izenstone has a detailed weather plan in place to keep guests comfortable and the celebration running smoothly.
The golf cart shuttle is equipped with rain guards, so transportation from the parking area to the venue remains available.
If necessary, the ceremony will be moved indoors — our staff will handle all transitions to ensure everything flows seamlessly.
-
Weapons, Smoking, Vaping
For everyone’s safety, weapons of any kind are not allowed on the property.
Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
Please dispose of cigarette butts properly to keep the property beautiful.
-
Event Timing and Courtesty
Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the ceremony.
Out of courtesy to the couple, please silence your phones during the ceremony.
If the couple has an “unplugged ceremony,” please wait to take photos until after it ends.
